Last-Minute Gift-Wrapping Idea: Need ribbon in a jiffy? Recycle an old VHS tape you haven't watched in years and use the shiny black tape inside as ribbon. Wrap it around a package, and leave long strips of tape on top of the box. Use sharp scissors to curl those strips into bows. Talk about obsolete to absolutely fabulous!

Last-Minute Gift-Wrapping Idea: Raid the office recycling bin for gift wrap freebies! Color copies of charts, graphs, reports, photos and other office-y designs make for green, gorgeous gift wrap. Ask an architect's office if they have old blueprints. Be resourceful and wrap away.
